Both generate a popup blocked warning, and there are no more links so I can't open them in a new tab/window/whatever.

Note that bug 1249363 is about modified left-click, not right or middle click... That is, you could totally fix this bug as described without actually fixing bug 1249363 as far as I can tell.
they are all shades of the same issue -- the context menu library we're using builds its menu items as <li>s with onclick handlers. works find with an unmodified left-click, but little else. updating the library to use <a>, or switching to another library would address this.

Yes. If you click my username next to comment #0, a "menu" pops up with "Profile", "Activity", "Mail" and "Edit". All of these should be links and I should be able to use modifier-clicks and/or right click + context menu to decide where they open, but any attempt to right-click them or use modifier-click will just open them in a new tab.

(It seems the attachment "button" and the New/Clone menu at the top of the page do work correctly now)
