Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/42.0 Build ID: 20151029151421 Steps to reproduce: Go to the web and log into a Microsoft Outlook email account and set its password to more than 16 characters. Actual results: Thunderbird cannot send mail with this email account. It keeps asking for the password... Expected results: Should be able to send the email or at least tell you there is a 16 char limit for passwords!

dup of bug 621337. Even when you can type "password more than 16 characters" at MS's Web Interface, MS's appliction uses "16 byres or 16 character" only as password. i.e. There is no "password more than 16 characters" in Hot Mail etc. Here is bugzilla.mozilla.org for developers to fix actual Tb's bug(flaw in code of Tb). Here is never support forum. Please always open bug at B.M.O with sufficient data of "evidence of actual Tb's bug".
Or, dup of bug 663022. Which bug do you want duping? Prefer WONTFIX? Or prefer INVALID?
