per bug 1225518 a new branch is wanted.

BTW, do we want to branch other repos under https://github.com/mozilla-b2g?

Branching gaia blocks bug 1227333 -- that branch can be added (and further work unblocked) by a simple git branch at a point with good builds on master

b2g-manifests was branched from the b2g-manifests/master at the same
time.

The work in comment 5 unblocks much of the rest of the setup. Moved the "less critical" parts to bug 1229392, so the dependency diagram more accurately reflects the status.
