The use of oAuth appears to be gaining traction in the email space. Rightly or wrongly. Given that implementation must be per provider I am setting up this bug to track implementation. Perhaps it is only for my own benefit, but knowing which bugs apply in this space is something I feel we need to have a handle on as user requests come in via support channels.

Are there any we need to fix now, in time for version 91? (to avoid localization complication or other issues)

Nothing other than resolving the whole ATT and other contracted users of Yahoo mail. My flawed understanding is Yahoo offers mail on behalf of one of the UK providers like Virgin. IT also used to offer BT, and some BT yahoo accounts still exist.
Basically, we need to rethink oAuth so that users do not have to jump through hoops like with ATT mailkeys to access their IMAP or POP mail. That is not user friendly, or simply fail entirely because our config options are so rigid they can not make it work.
