I'm looking to turn on no-unused-vars throughout the tree as it is useful for ensuring that dead code isn't left lying around.

This is the tracking bug for that work.

Note: this is low priority at the moment, fitting it in alongside gaps in other work.

This is now fixed for the local scope. Bug 1315949 is working on this for toolkit.

We might do the global scope at some stage, that will need some more analysis of how to handle content files nicely.
