As part of the transition of support.m.o from Kitsune to Lithium we would like to change the DNS entry of 

  support.mozilla.org 

to 

  CNAME hwsfp35778.lithium.com


Please DO NOT go forward with this yet. This is a placeholder bug. We'll communicate and schedule together a date and time for this to happen. Thanks!

This is scheduled to happen on 

  Nov 29th 2016

around Noon PST

The migration of data from Kitsune to Lithium it's scheduled to start early UTC hours on Nov 29th can it's planned to take about 16+ hours.

More details to come as they are being surfaced.

Launching got postponed and it'll definitely not happen before or during Hawaii.

There is no definite date on the launch day yet, we will update this bug when that is clear.
