Hi, Benoit,
I saw you're the author who added the code for |NPPVpluginIsPlayingAudio| [1].
I found that I can't receive this value on Linux when I starts playing media via Flash.
Do you have any idea about that? This situation is Linux-only.

It's up to flash to send Firefox the event. It's possible they don't send it on Linux, I haven't tested there. I'd begin by checking that.

I found that the Flash was completely broken on Linux, it doesn't have any response when we ask it to mute or unmute.
Now in FF50, the sound indicator can be seen, but it can't work, anything about our audio channel system can't work as well (mute/unmute/block).
This is the serious bug for Flash plugin, and I would set this bug as duplicate because there is another bug already filed for that.
