This is a meta bug that will collect all issues found during testing related to Opt-out studies: Normandy control panel, the system add-on, and integration between the two.

Opt out studies has shipped. Bug 1400897 is about session restore and about:studies. After looking into this a bunch, there isn't really a good solution, and it only affects users that have the page open when session restore happens (ie, it was the last tab they looked at). I'm going to leave it open, but I think it is fine to close out this tracker bug, since we likely aren't going to fix bug 1400897 any time soon.
