When having WebExtensions placed in the overflow menu, opening them from their icon open a kinda broken pane with many (most?) extensions.
See the following screenshots for some examples.
We can give those examples :
- uBlock origin: large white/empty zone at the right of the content, making the pane way too big.
- uMatrix: Part of the table is missing at the right, same white empty zone at the right.
- Disconnect: There's just nothing here, all the content is missing
And I think there are many examples of broken WebExtensions that way

> uBlock origin's example
I committed fixes today to fix uBlock Origin's rendering when inside the overflow menu -- this was an open issue in my repo:
https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/issues/2809
The fix is 1.16.5b0 in the Releases section of the repo. All seems fine, except for one quirk which so far I believe lies in Firefox: if the panel is higher than the viewport, there will be a bit of missing content at the bottom which can't be scrolled into view. I have a hunch this is caused by the header in the overview panel. I will attach a screenshot which demonstrate the issue. The link visited which exhibit the issue is below[1] -- but any page which contains enough 3rd parties is good to reproduce this quirk.

The severity field for this bug is relatively low, S3. However, the bug has 4 duplicates.
:mixedpuppy, could you consider increasing the bug severity?

On a small screen the extension popup can be moved to start at the top of screen rather than below the extension button on the extension toolbar.
In that case nothing is shown in the extension popup, it remains white.
