This bug tracks enabling the VR process by default, once it has been implemented in Bug 1362578 and all functionality has been moved to the VR Service thread in Bug 1473399.

Kearwood, what release version is targeted?

I think we are stable enough and ready to go in FF 68. We are considering to postpone or discard the process Sandboxing work depend on if it is possible to fully control the third party's dynamic libraries like openvr runtime and Oculus's LibOVRRT.dll.
