[Tracking Requested - why for this release]:

There are a number of - should be - low effort changes to improve the search tiles/ keywords user interaction.
We believe this will greatly impact the general usefulness, usability and users' perception of the feature when it launches in Firefox 63.

Drew, since you've been working on the Activity Stream search tiles integration before, would you be able to take on the follow-ups that I've filed as blockers to this metabug?

If at all possible, we'd like to consider the work to be done here to be uplifted to 63. The window is rather short, but let's see what we can do within that timeframe.

I'd prefer not to track meta bugs, feel free to request tracking in dependencies though.

FWIW 63 had its last beta yesterday, so I think that ship has sailed.
