The More Options menu should have a Preferences (or Options) option when the extension provides preferences. This should open a new tab or go to the detail view based on what the extension requested.

This issue is verified as fixed on Firefox 69.0a1 (20190523215203) and Firefox 68.0b4 (20190523115432) under Win 7 64-bit and Mac OS X 10.14.1.
