Just so that it's on your radar, :glandium -- there might be an opportunity to do much better in export for mobile/android. Some of export depends on compiling Java (JNI wrappers, SDK bindings). But the Gradle invocation is slow (~20-30s on my MBP laptop), so it's almost always the long tail for the export tier. If we were able to run Gradle in parallel with some of the compile tier, we'd have better parallelism. But I don't see an easy way to achieve that. Perhaps you have ideas.
