We have many many bugs on how unrelated css from the message you reply to end up changing font, background and other properties of the actual message being written.

By inlining the styles of the quote we can avoid this problem.
"CSS inliner" gives many hints for how to implement it.

Interesting, a bug exist since a year so will be not resolved soon. I hope with the new version of Thunderbird that should be released in June 2023 but this means this bug will still exist for other 6 months.

This is not a small bug, this is a bug that invalidate the possibility to create a correct email reply.

Note to self: should set editor.use_css true and see how well that works.
