Steps to reproduce:

I'd like informe you since new version 102 like said before multi-time (always no response and not correction in urgently) on version 102.0 or 102.0.1 or 102.0.2 :

• crash immediately with launcher profiles on starting application under windows11-x64 Intel-I7
• very often corruptions data from several folder and multi time in Thunderbird and not under Webmail (it's not very easy, because, I've over a thousand mails to rebuild, it's very long with big size)
• don't correctly this function to repaire folder, must to close Thunderbird and reopen + rebuild this folder
• sometime, the process grow over 2Gbytes of memory (RAM)

S1=release blocker is only useful on a single issue bug reprt.

The crash is likely covered by bug 1778851, expected to be fixed in 102.0.3 next week.

Corruption is covered by several bug reports, also soon to be fixed.

I suggest we morph this bug report to only be about repair.
Do you use imap accounts, or pop?
mbox folder format, or maildir?

I use IMAP from Orange.fr, Gmail and Free.fr which I use often (it works fine on version 92.x). And I use standard format maybe mbox, so, I just check under %APPDATA%\Thunderbird\Profiles{PROFILENAME}.default-release\ImapMail{PROVIDER#}\INBOX which is editable from text editor eg: winvi32.exe ... And I've some problem on different folder sometime INBOX or my archives eg: 2022 or "MyNewpaper", etc. ...

I just have corruption message and it's in "MyNewsPaper" (good example) "News", it take near 2,4Mb ou 280Kb 7zipped format.
No error in console and It seems lost indexation and fragmentation message header + body ...

update to 102.0.3 done successful and rollback profiles.ini config to set StartWithLastProfile=0 :

• launcher profile : it works now. Thanks.
• the function to repaire folder : it works now too. Thanks.
• corruption Folder/datas/messages : too early to said at the moment.
• Grow memory of Thunderbird.exe (rarely) above 2Gb : too early to said at the moment.
