+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #352107 +++

This has been reported long back per my Bug 352107 Comment 11, but still happening in TB 102.1.2 (64-bit), Win10.

Changing the interval for getting new messages fails to take effect for the current session and requires a restart without letting the user know (tested on POP).

STR

  1. POP account (should test IMAP, too, probably same)
  2. Open Tools > Activity Manager to monitor POP checks
  3. Change Check for new messages every XX minutes down to 1 min
  4. Wait 2 mins while monitoring Activity monitor for POP checks

Actual

  • New interval fails to take effect for the current session, old interval is still used
  • Making new interval effective requires restart of TB, but this is not known to the user

Expected

  • New interval should take effect instantly for the current session
