The F6 and Shift+F6 are a powerful keyboard shortcut that allows to move the focus between primary areas.
Right now, the focus ring of the various tabs, windows, and sections is pretty inconsistent, and the addition of the spaces toolbar highlighted some issues and needs from our users.

Let's define a clear and consistent focus ring for all sections and make it consistent and reliable once and for all.

Wayne and Thomas, I searched and collected all the bugs I could find related to the F6 shortcut.
Did I miss any? Could you please go around and make them all blockers of this meta bug so we can track them and tackle them all at once?
