1823019 - Option to display message list columns in vertical view in Supernova

I have received an update to Supernova interface and it looks nice, but message list has lost all the functionality.

I used buttons in the view to mark messages as read/unread and spam at least once an hour and now they are all gone, can't do anything without selecting a message and using hotkey or searching for necessary action in context menu.

All those inconveniences cost me space too, every email now uses two lines instead of one (my Thunderbird window is over 6000px wide, I'd rather use its horizontal space than vertical).

Please consider introducing those features back somehow under new design.

The "buttons" work, but only for the selected message.

I don't see them in the list, there is only "star" button and it is always visible anyway.
If you mean those that are in email preview, then when using just a mouse that is quite a bit of travel and precision required to do what was previous a few pixels away.

They are available. Maybe you need to click the customize button in the thread pane header to add them?

I was following a ticket that this bug is supposedly a duplicate of, I still don't have any buttons in the list, just updates Thunderbird to 112.0b6.
What am I missing? My list doesn't have columns and there is only "Star" button visible on each line.

Alex has indicated in the beta forum this will be done.

(A more accurate description in the original report would have avoided confusion.)

No it doesn't require strings.
We should land this option on daily later next week (use table layout in vertical view)
