Hi Alessandro, you are doing some brilliant work here, I'm very much looking forward to try the next major version of Thunderbird. Can I just ask if it is currently on the roadmap for a message preview line to be in the vertical layout? Apple Mail and Microsoft Office along with quite a few other mail clients have this functionality and I find it very useful to help triage my mail quickly and efficiently. I think this is pretty much an expected feature now particularly if you are coming from mobile clients that display this additional line such as Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo and I'm sure others also.

Hi Jamie.
Yes, we will try to make something like that happen. We already have bug 307070 that requested that feature.
We will see if we're able to make it happen before 115, but even if we don't manage to do that, it's definitely on the roadmap as "must-have" feature.
