Steps to reproduce:

Every now and then, the badge showing new mails on the Windows taskbar shows wrong numbers. It seems it is not always reset when emails are read.

This is hard to reproduce on demand, as I basically have to wait for some mails to arrive, see the badge count, read the emails and verify the badge count again.

Actual results:

Badge count on windows taskbar is wrong.

Expected results:

Badge count on taskbar should match the new entries in main window.

bug 1791160 sounds very similar, for me this also happens in the inbox folder though.
