STR:

• Receive a thread of messages in a unified folder like the inbox
• Move that thread into another folder (I archive) - but stay in the same view
• Receive another message belonging to that thread

Expected result:
The single new message is displayed as a single message (so directly showing about:message when selected)

Actual result:
The single message shows up as part of the conversation of the thread, except that it is a single entry, see also screenshot.

Not sure if this also happens in other circumstances, this is the only specific one I have observed this under. Seems like we are caching the threads somewhere and not properly invalidating that?

I've seen it a bunch in May as well. I think it's sometimes hard to see, since you need to stay in the same view for it to occur.

Yes, we still sometimes show threads of 1 message.

This indeed still happens, on beta.

Bug 1858258 and bug 1876854 probably have the same cause, hopefully fixed by bug 646168. Please check if you can still reproduce this in Daily.
