Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use an IMAP email account.
  2. Create a new Message Filter.
  3. Send/Receive an email that would trigger the filter.
  4. Clicking on "Tools -> Message Filters -> Filter Log" yields no log entries.

Thunderbird 115.3.1 (64-bit).

FWIW, Thunderbird does create "filterlog.html" in the account's subfolder of "ImapMail", it's just that clicking on "Tools -> Message Filters -> Filter Log" doesn't show it. IIRC, it did in previous versions of TB.

This is a function of not having window sizing tools. If you right click on the filter log window box and select "Size", then resize the window larger, the filter contents appear.

This is a bug appearing in the last month or so. Previous behavior didn't have this issue.
