Steps to reproduce:

Collapse POP3 or IMAP servers in the folder pane where the inbox has unread messages. Restart.

Actual results:

To get an unread badge on the server line, the server needs to be expanded and collapsed again.

Expected results:

After restart, all collapsed server lines should show the number of messages.

Maybe bug 1844534 didn't fix this case.

Video is only with one account, but in my main Thunderbird i have 14 mail accounts, and I don't want to permanently expand them all just to see if they contain unread messages.
Please bring back this useful feature.

Most of the issues reported in bug 1835548 have been fixed in bug 1854377. Still missing is the display of unread/total number of messages in collapsed accounts at startup. I am reopening this bug to provide a fix.
