Steps to reproduce:
As per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1686239#c19:
The cited comment in #1686239#c0 (eg. deleting "$profile/Mail/smart mailboxes") solved it for me. I was then able to re-select "grouped folders" and after a few seconds of TB utilizing 100% CPU, it again gave me a way to access my mail accounts in the usual grouped manner.
After upgrading to 115.5.0+build1-0ubuntu0.22.04.1, I have the same issue again.
Actual results:
Empty window without any properly populated email pane like the account/folder list, email list or message view.
