Steps to reproduce:

bug 1872170 fixed on most sites in today's Nightly, but not on reuters.com/world.

eg navigate to reuters.com/world
tap on (any?) story
swipe gentle UP the screen, often but not always the pull to reload spinner appears

intermittent, some stories do it others don't? Might occur only every 2nd time you navigate to a story then back to reuters.com/world.

Hi,
I wasn't able to reproduce your issue on the latest Nightly build (123.0a1 from 2024-01-15).
I've used a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14).
What device are you using?
Could you make a video of your issue?
Any extra detail you had to the ones from the mentioned bug, that might help reproducing your issue?

In today's Nightly on Galaxy S21 FE, Android 14, add-ons disabled, Tracking Protection strict

Ensure pull to refresh is enabled
Go to reuters.com/world
Pull to refresh multiple times
Only every second pull does anything
-> INCORRECT BEHAVIOR, EVERY PULL SHOULD WORK
After a successful pull to refresh, tap the "World" button to get a drop down
Select another region eg Africa
Wait til the page loads
Fling the page as though to view the bottom
The reload spinner appears, the page might reload
-> INCORRECT BEHAVIOR, THE PAGE SHOULD FLING

I see the same behavior on https://hopeforwildlife.tv/product/hope-for-wildlife-season-five/
Only every second pull works
After a successful pull, tap the HOPE banner to move to the main page
Wait for the page to load
Fling the page, you get the reload spinner & maybe a reload

I also see it on rightmove.co.uk
Choose a town to search, eg London
Tap any house to view its details
Pull to refresh multiple times
Only every second pull works
After a successful pull, do the Back gesture to move back to the list of houses
Fling the page, you get the reload spinner & maybe a reload

Hi,
Thank you for the additional details.
I did reproduce partially your issue using the steps above.
The pull to refresh multiple times did leave me with a continuous spinner action sometimes, or in other cases not working sometimes.
I didn't however managed to reproduce any of the flinging related issues.
I used a similar device to yours: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14).
I'll mark this ticket as NEW.

I'll post a video of the fling just to help with diagnosis.
I also see it on amazon.co.uk so I think it's quite common.

You have to do a lot of pulls on reuters.com/world eg I did it 5 times of which 3 were successful
Then drop down the list and move to another page (eg Europe) and fling to get the fling issue.
It's quite difficult to get it to happen for the video!
