Yeah, maybe I just like Outlook's way of doing this, but I think it would be
extraordinarily handy to be able to alter the details of one particular event
within a series of recurring events -- like if you have something happening
every week in a particular place but the place is changing for just one
occurrence (sp?).

Should be able to handle more or date range.

There seems to be action over at bug 293183 that may fix this.

I'd also like to point out that both Apple's iCal and phpicalendar seem to
use/support RFC-2445 RECURRENCE-ID
(http://www.kanzaki.com/docs/ical/recurrenceId.html) for this type of thing.
