User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 When more than one SMTP server is specified, the "default" has no effect - the first server in the list is always used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add two SMTP servers to the list of servers (under advanced) - it's easier if the first one is invalid or inaccessable. 2. Set the second server in the list to be default 3. Compose and send a message - if the first server is inaccessible, you'll get an error. Actual Results: Error contacting the first server, even after second server was set as default. Expected Results: Used the default server (#2 in the list)
See Bug 222388. Set "Always Use Default (SMTP) Server" at "Server Settings"/"Advanced" for the accounts manualy.
In the "Advanced Outgoing Sever (SMTP) Settings" dialogue box, NO matter which SMTP server is set default, always the first/top SMTP server in the list is used. Fail as a different ISP is used.
