When an email with many attachments is displayed in Thunderbird, it becomes
impossible to navigate among them. I receive several mailing lists in digests,
and finding a particular part of many is almost impossible. I will attach a
screen shot of what I'm talking about, and will be happy to forward a test
message to anyone.
