this doesn't work on Linux. It doesn't for the browser either. I'm going to
assume that if it works on Windows and not on Linux that it must be an xpfe bug
(please reassign back if it isn't.). reassigning to trudelle.

The browser and mail don't appear to remember the position on Linux or the Mac.
Windows is ok.

Build 2000-03-22-06M15nb1b: Win95, positioning seems to work.
Build 2000-03-22-05M15nb1b: Linux 6.0, not working after a Close or a Quit.
Build 2000-03-22-05M15nb1b: Mac 8.5.1, works most of the time but not all the time.
Wouldn't this be a dupe of 31086 because it deals with the position of the window?

Build 2000-03-22-11M15trunk: Win95, works.
Build 2000-03-22-08M15trunk: Linux 6.0, does not work after a Close or Quit.
Build 2000-03-22-08M15trunk: Mac 8.5.1, works after a Quit, not after a Close.
The above are results of moving the Mail window.

danm: Currently this is marked a dupe of a bug that deals with resizing. It
should actually be a dupe of 31086 which deals with the position of the window,
right?
Build 2000-04-10-08M15: NT4, Linux, Mac
For the record, reposition the 3-pane window and the following results occur:
Position Remembered
- Windows, Close and reopen 3-pane in the same session
Position Not Remembered
- Windows, Quit and reopen
- Linux Close and reopen
- Linux Quit and reopen
- Mac Close and reopen
- Mac Quit and reopen
