Build: 2000012520 (and other previous builds) Load above URL and mouse over on some links. Notice how the font changes and everything moves around. Also the right side of the page is not visible until you put the mouse over some of the links on the right hand side and then it moves in bit by bit.

Sorry: Does not occur on IE5. The actual font is changing also, not just size. (Or maybe size isn't changing and just the font)

I'm seeing a problem on http://slashdot.org that might be related. Scroll down to the article "PSX2 To Replace Your PC?" and mouse over the 'rosewood' link. The entire middle column disappears!

The attachment I just created is the slashdot page content that's causing this (since it will change). This is on this morning's build (Feb 2) on Linux.

Hm I see this content problem even without putting the mouse over anything. Maybe there's regression elsewhere. (win32 build 2000020108)

Another good candidate for the bug contest: could someone write a testcase? Thanks. Note: you can't see the reflow on the Mac although when you mouse over links, the machine is as sluggish as if a reflow was occuring.

********** IMPORTANT: ********** Ignore the comments and testcase from bryner@uiuc.edu. The problem with disappearing tables on mouseover is filed under bug 26015.

Reassigned back to me these bugs that shouldn't have left my list.

I am seeing the same problems reported in bug 7617: namely putting focus on a link or a button causes a reflow where sizes of table elements shift. I cannot see anything wrong on hover, or a font change happening. This looks like a dup of bug 7617 to me - is anyone else seeing a font change as reported? If not, I recommend marking as a dup.

I'd say this is different from bug 7617. This one reflows on a mouseover, while 7617 reflowes only when actually clicked (not when moving over a mousebutton)

I'm not sure that 29877 is entirely a duplicate, but it is very similar at least. I spent a little time looking at google. I'll attach my minimized test case. I don't see any of the contained object returning back anything unusual during incremental reflow. I think the table is not handling the incremetnal reflow correctly itself. The resizing problem is probably somewhat different than the disappearing content problem. All these bugs should probably be separated into 3 categories: 1) disappearing content on hover which chris already checked in a fix for (bug 29429) 2) unnecessary reflows on content state changes, which I will check in a fix for tonight (bug 28553) 3) table resizing on certain incremental reflows when contained objects get focus (maybe this bug, and bug 29877)
