Please see the detailed description in bug 257670. I my view, this is not a JavaScript or VBScript issue.
Hans Schleichert, your bug seems to be a different issue. I will reopen it. this bug is indeed the site's fault - mozilla does not support VBscript, which this page uses to start the download. -> tech evang.
