The mail-news prefs have prefs that say that double-clicking on a message or a
folder opens in a new window.  They don't.

That's because we don't have standalone message windows yet.  Lisa, should this
be a dup of bug 10875?  10875 is marked M17; so at least we should remove the
pref for beta.

This is actually part of bug 10875 (double-click to open standalone window) and 
bug 6567 (double click folder to open multiple mail windows 2 or 3 pane).

We can either remove the pref or just release note it, I think.  I don't have a 
preference.

got it hooked up to the pref now)

Every double click now opens a new window, *even if the pref to open messages in
new windows is not selected*.  Either this is a dup of bug 10875, or it's really
about the pref being ignored, then it's still open.  If the former, I'll file a
new bug.

filed and then we can move this to future.

This is covered in the beta2 release notes by a general statement covering the
fact that Prefs and Account Settings in general have not been cleaned up. (Some
prefs not implemented and we haven't removed them all yet.)
