With the landing of the patch in bug 302273 the "Check Now" button for extension
and theme updates is no longer available from Options - Advanced - Update. The
help docs need to reflect this.

The Check box for Extensions/Themes is still in the Advanced UI, and leads one
to believe when checked that the 'Check updates' button will do:
Firefox/Extensions/Themes..when it appears to me that leaving the EM/TM box
'checked' that no update checking is taking place, leading to a false sense of
security that EM/TM's where checked.
The Checkbox should also be removed IMO or Removed with text stating something
about to check for updates to EM/TM's use the appropiate Manager.

Why can't there just be ONE PLACE to do update checks, whether it be for themes,
extensions, or the browser?
Maybe the extensions manager could be laid out so that it is in sections or
something. One section for themes, one for extensions, and one for Firefox
updates. That way, it is still all in one place, yet it is easy enough to
differentiate what one wants, and what needs to or has yet to be done.
Just thinking out loud here in an effort to help clarify from a user's point of
view.

This bug is for updating the help docs and not changing the ui or features. If
you would like to change the ui or features please file a new bug... preferably
after you have flushed out the change to the ui or features you would like to see.

So bug 302273 removed the extensions Check Now button, and bug 305994 the app
Check Now button.
Depends on: 302273
Summary: Extension and Theme update Check Now button is no longer available from Options - Advanced - Update → document the removal of the Check Now buttons from Options-Advanced-Update

Simplifying the UI we doc here makes this *so* much easier to document while
avoiding highlighting the previous inconsistencies.
