(Whiteboard: [nsbeta2+] (Requires PSM for mac))

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; N; Linux 2.2.14 i586; en-US) Mozilla/m13
BuildID: 2000022916

Mozilla doesn't crash, but the login doesn't work. You enter a valid login name
and password, click on login, and ... nothing.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.hotmail.com
2. Enter a valid username and password
3. Click on login
4. Answer the popup any way you fell.
5. Watch mozilla do absolutely nothing

Actual Results: I watched mozilla do nothing ... it just sits there ... doing
nothing.

Expected Results: Log me in to my freakin' email!
eric, submit issue

The reason that this doesnt work is that hotmail uses ssl in order to keep
their user's passwords secure. Mozilla does not have this enabled by
default...you have to download psm.exe. This bug is invalid.
Marking INVALID.
SSL capable browsers are M14 (special-crypto edition) or later nightlies if you
want to try

Tried logging into hotmail using netscape 6 on Linux (3/30/00 build).
Used go.bat script file (written by sspitzer) to get the latest version.
Could not log on. Same problem.

We need psm for Mac to test this bug. My guess is that if you have PSM for Mac
installed, and psm works, this will just work.

This is a dupe of bug 29895
This bug and 29895 have many other bugs marked as dupes of them, between the two
of them just about every OS and Platform are named, so OS and Platform need to
be updated to All
This is indeed the same as bug 29895. I just closed out bug 29895 though,
because this works fine on Linux and Windows (tested yet again with today's
builds). You have to install PSM before it will work with any platform. PSM is
only available for Windows and Linux. Instructions to verify on Win and Linux
are available on bug 29895.
This is really bug 19119. Once that is fixed, this should just work. Marking
it a duplicate!
