341042 - Messages that are forwarded as attachments end up blank / empty

I forward a message as an attachment, and when the attached message is opened, it is blank/empty.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a message.
2. Click the "Message" menu and select "Forward As > Attachment".
3. In the new message's window, right-click the attached message and select "Open".
4. When viewing the attached message, it is blank/empty. There is no text. "View > Message Source" is grayed out.
Actual Results:  
The attached message is blank/empty.

Expected Results:  
The attached message should not be blank/empty.

This issue had not been encountered prior to installing the 1.5.0.4 update. I have restarted my computer and run Thunderbird in "No Extensions" mode, but the issue persists no matter what I do.

I uninstalled Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 and installed 1.5.0.2, but the problem persists.

I forgot to mention that attached messages can't be viewed even when I open them from the Sent folder. All attached messages in my Sent folder that were sent before I installed the 1.5.0.4 update are viewable, but the newer ones aren't.

This problem persists in the version 1.5.0.7.

However, it only happens for POP accounts. If I try the same steps in an IMAP account, everything works fine.

The problem was also present in Thunderbird versions 1.5.0.5 and even 1.0.8, runing under different Windows versions (only POP accounts were tested in these versions).

the two I use pop

when I come back to reinstalling the tuinderbird on my computer. the version 1.5.0.7 PT-br ?I have see this bug too. my e-mail is pop too

Problem in comment #1(attached mail display while composing) and problem comment #2(attached mail display of sent/received mail) are completely different problems.
Problem in comment #1:
  Re-created with Tb trunk 2007/7/15 build.
  Probably already reported and old bug.
  To bug opener and comment posters: Please search bugzilla.mozilla.org well.
Problem in comment #2:
  Same phenomenon can be observed if mail.file_attach_binary=true is set.
  See Bug 326303. 
  Did you set mail.file_attach_binary=true after upgrade to Tb 2.0.x?

What do you mean by your "attached messages can't be viewed"?
What phenomenon when what operation?

Problem in comment #1(attached mail display while composing) was older Bug 273349, although Bug 273349 refers to double click case only.
(easily be found by search for "forward AND attachment" in open bug summary)
