... but not on Mac, that's not on the agenda for Firefox 2, should be on the agenda for Firefox 3, though. IIRC.
Alias: fx20-gu-IN
Whiteboard: windows and linux ready to go.
Depends on: 353485
Unsetting whiteboard, windows is obviously not OK, as we didn't even have an installer. Now that bug 3534845 is fixed, we need to get some firsthand feedback on QA.
Whiteboard: windows and linux ready to go.
Ankit, is Gujarati ready for release? I only see pretty old results on litmus, nevertheless, if this is ready, please close this bug. Deadline for sign-off is today, as announced in .l10n.

Deadline for sign-off is today, as announced in .l10n. > Hi Alex, According to http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showbuilds.cgi?tree=Mozilla1.8-l10n-gu-IN it shows green signal only, so i guess it's ready...
The green tinderbox just means that there are no big technical problems in creating a build, it's no replacement for real testing, nor reports on that testing. http://litmus.mozilla.org/run_tests.cgi has 15 tests in the L10n testing group, those should be fairly easy to run.
Okay, tell me how much time i have to finish this testing... I will start it now only...
I have tested Firefox and got two issues: http://litmus.mozilla.org/single_result.cgi?id=38809 http://litmus.mozilla.org/single_result.cgi?id=38800 From which 38809 is the only critical, installation in English (second issue 38800) we can leave for the time being as it's common to all indic languages. I am attaching screenshots i have taken for first issue over here...
Well, that's the launch buttons for the update history and filetypes dialogs. The text in the privacy tab is still readable, as far as I can tell. We don't block for naughtier things. But please file a bug to get that fixed in 2.0.0.1 (and CC me on it).

Ankit, the bug is still open, though we have talked about not having any blockers for sign off quite a bit. If you agree that this is good to go, please close this bug to say so? For reference, marcoos filed bug 357277 about the prefwindow problems, it apparently depends on details in the X/gtk/linux setup on whether that problem shows or not.
I am resolving this bug, as this couldn't be fixed before this release, and we have very less time. It's fine, if we release gu-IN without solving it, as this is not blocking anything else.

Ankit, you probably meant to resolve this bug as fixed, not wontfix, right? That's what required for the release signoff...
