User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98) Build Identifier: 1.5.0.9 The uninstall selection in the Add/remove programs of the Control panel does not uninstall Thunderbird, essentially no response when trying to execute. Direct execution of the uninstall program does not work either. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open control panel 2. open Add/Remove 3. click Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 4. click Add/Remove Actual Results: no response from clicking Add/remove. Expected Results: remove the program program remains installed and working.

see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335458 One of the workaround may be to download an uninstaller program from mozilla.org, if you didn't want to do it manually, similar to what is mentioned in this comment (but this is for firefox, not thunderbird) https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338752#c14 which links to this mozillazine post, which has links to uninstallers, including for thunderbird (not sure if they are the proper ones now) --> http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=418369
