365730 - Installer does not uninstall in W98SE or Windows ME

The uninstall selection in the Add/remove programs of the Control panel does not uninstall Thunderbird, essentially no response when trying to execute. Direct execution of the uninstall program does not work either.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open control panel
2. open Add/Remove
3. click Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5
4. click Add/Remove
Actual Results:  
no response from clicking Add/remove.

Expected Results:  
remove the program

program remains installed and working.

One of the workaround may be to download an uninstaller program from mozilla.org, if you didn't want to do it manually, similar to what is mentioned in this comment (but this is for firefox, not thunderbird) https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338752#c14
