I have a number of test accounts on the various mail servers I'm one of the administrators of; when I added another one just now, it fails to appear in the account list pane, even after I removed some of the others. I shut down Tbird and tried renaming the entry from "id17" to "id3" (which was otherwise unused), to no avail.

Steps to Reproduce:

2.

Check "Server Settings"/"Advanced" button settings of the kidnapped account.
"Global Inbox" is choosed, isn't it?

Aw ****. Yup, you're right. Thanks, and sorry. Is there a way to make that *not* the default? I never want that and it's one of the things I hate about Outlook...

When Seamonkey, Yes. "Not Global Inbox" is already defaulted by Bug 329018.
When Thunderbird, No. See rejected my Bug 272340 I opened for you far before you open this bug :-) Good luck.
