This bug is for tracking the bugs we want to put in 0.8.0.4.

First we need to update the 1.8 branch to the trunk level of code.  This would include bug 388078, bug 391586, bug 394023, bug 398271, bug 316817, bug 396179, bug 393416, bug 310962, and bug 388976.

Still need: bug 400130, bug 393057 and bug 280423.

I asked John for a 1.8 version of the patch for bug 388976 so waiting on that, too.

checked in patch containing patches for bugs: bug 388078, bug 391586, bug 394023, bug 398271, bug 316817, bug 396179, bug 393416, bug 310962.  I also added the patch for bug 411194 and I bumped up the xforms version number to 0.8.0.4.

I checked in bug 400130 and bug 393057 into 1.8 branch.

Now we are just waiting for John's 1.8 patch for bug 388976 and Merle for bug 280423.

Merle is also going to look at getting now(), local-date() and local-dateTime() implemented before 1.8.1.12 goes out the door to avoid having to wait another FF 2.x release to get those in (since they are xpath functions, they require a core update in FF2).

I opened a bug for the now, local-date and local-dateTime stuff.  Bug 411984.  I fixed and checked it into the trunk.  Now I just have to do a 1.8 patch for it and get it approved for 1.8 branch checkin.

well, the 1.8 branch is frozen and we still haven't gotten the core reviews we need for the xpath changes in bug 411984 and bug 280423 so we'll have to ship without them.  We have also decided to version this next release as 0.8.4 since we have more than just regression fixes in here.
