Interesting: it should be noticeably busted, by not properly setting up in parallel with Open in New Window (not shown with multiple selection (for whatever bogus reason we do that) and not enabled without a selection), but I don't recall seeing a bug mentioning that it doesn't even try to behave properly, and will happily Open (Only The First Of Your Multiple Selected )Message(s) in a New Tab.
But, I'm contet to leave that for another bug, ideally one where someone makes it do the right thing with multiple selected messages.
