User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_6; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.27.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.2.1 Safari/525.27.1 Build Identifier: 2.0.0.19 (20081209) In the Preferences for alert sound, using your own sound file will not work. I have tried using different sound files, extensions, but they will not work. I have to choose Default System Sound. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to Preferences 2. Choose own sound in, "Use the following sound file" 3. Click play or wait for mail to arrive. Actual Results: Nothing, I only got the Thunderbird icon bounce in my Dock. Expected Results: Played the chosen Sound file for alert.
