Description

steps to reproduce:
1.Search for the tag-"10"
2.In the search results notice that the add-on-"tets'..." is listed for Firefox.
3.Notice that the same add-on is listed for Thunderbird,Seamonkey and Sunbird as well

expected results:
Add-ons are listed only for applications which support it 

actual results:
Search engine add-on is listed for all available applications

Yeah, search plugin compatibility handling is bad. It's just more noticeable now that you can tab through to other applications. You can actually hit this same sort of bug on production:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/search?q=a9&cat=all

In the context of SeaMonkey, it's bug 439337. Previously this was an issue primarily because you could list them all for SeaMonkey via the Search Tools category.

In a more general sense, this is all bug 439341. They're listed as and behave as though they're compatible with everything instead of just Firefox 2+ (and IE7+).

For SeaMonkey, this problem goes away with the upcoming beta supporting OpenSearch and therefore all those plugins listed.

I guess that leaves only Thunderbird open here. Do we care?
