Prior to the 20090707 build, CTRL+SHIFT+C would mark all messages in a folder as read. However in the 20090707 build with the Jul-07 Lightning, CTRL+SHIFT+C will either open or switch to the Calendar tab. To mark a folder as read, one must use the mouse.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a folder with unread messages
2.Press CTRL+SHIFT+C
3....
Actual Results:
Calendar tab opens and messages remain unread
Expected Results:
All the unread messages should be marked as read

If caused by a 20090706 checkin, then I'd suspect Bug 501426: make the open tabs in background pref be named mail.tabs.loadInBackground and allow overriding default for context/middle click with the shift key. ui-r=clarkbw, r=asuth

bleh, more likely? Bug 477091: (hard coded keys until string freeze is over) shortcuts for opening calendar or tasks tab don't work, new shortcuts required. ui-r=clarkbw, r=philipp, r=philor

As discussed on bug 477091 comments 6 to 27, it was decided that to accommodate keys for lightning, that the key combination would be changed to shift-c. The menu option also indicates the change.
Therefore this bug is invalid as it was an intentional re-arrangement.
