Note: this is a meta tracking bug to organize a collection of UI mockups (in dependent bugs) and for discussion of the overall user experience of Places in Firefox 3.7.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
Gerv
Component: Places → Bookmarks & History
QA Contact: places → bookmarks
Here's one idea I have which I'd like to be considered for Firefox 3.7, bug 534530.
I think we need to make some progress on these soon, to make sure that they (or at least some of them) get into Firefox.next.
I have a new idea, something I think many would appreciate. Should I describe it here and let you file a bug, or should I file it myself?
(And some information on if these are really meant to go in to 3.7 or not would be nice.)
Thanks!
