Created attachment 412468 [details] Screenshot of the Crash Reporter Window If the translation of the two checkboxes under the comment textarea is too long, the label is cut instead of being displayed on two lines or force the window to enlarge. This happens on the Italian (it) build on Mac OS X, but I suppose the same issue can affect other locales as well. The second checkbox translation is "Invia una e-mail quando saranno disponibili nuove informazioni" (CheckSendEmail in crashreporter.ini).
We have code that tries to resize the checkbox labels to fit (and the window to fit, if the checkboxes get too wide): http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/toolkit/crashreporter/client/crashreporter_osx.mm#405 It must be failing for some reason here. Has this always worked like this for you, or is this a regression?
(In reply to comment #1) > It must be failing for some reason here. Has this always worked like this for > you, or is this a regression? Honestly I don't know, I've just noticed this problem because I encountered a bug that makes mozilla1.9.2 nightlies systematically crash. BTW, I tried with a fresh profile on Fx 3.5.5 and crashme.xpi, and the window has the same problem.
Just to narrow down a bit: * Firefox 3.5.2, same problem * Firefox 3.0.15, works fine (window it's resized) I suppose that this problem has always been there for Firefox 3.5
This is still happening on current builds. Any chance to fix it?
