The problem is that when you open Thunderbird (by clicking the Dock icon or double-clicking the app icon) the menu bar shows Thunderbird as the active app but the main Thunderbird window is in the background. This bug appears to be related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=510740 To reproduce: - Run Snow Leopard - Have another app running - Launch Thunderbird using dock icon or double-clicking app icon - Wait - Note menu bar indicates Thunderbird is running - Note that the main Thunderbird window is NOT in foreground. The window from the other app you have running is frontmost.
