I hope it's okay to list 3 feature requests here since they all focus on search windows (SW).
1. The new multiple search window feature is great, but when TB finds the e-mails, I need the e-mails oldest to newest, not the other way around.
I can switch it when I click on "date", but once I X out of that SW or reboot, it goes back to giving me e-mails from newest to oldest.
When I was using Mail Tweak's add-on, he had it the other way & I loved it that way. : )
2. Please please add this on.
Instead of having to dbl. click on the e-mails in the search window I would love it if you could make it so the layout is like TB itself. Meaning I can read the e-mail in the search window & not have to dbl. click on tons of e-mails to find the information within the e-mail.
3. Lastly, I create all my folders & subfolders underneath Local Folders. When I'm searching thru local folders to find the e-mail(s) I need, it tells me the name of the folder, but not where that folder is.
It could be a subfolder 2-4 levels deep & with the amount of folders I have, there is no way to find it. Which brings me to my next point, a way to search the name of folders. I know this doesn't belong in this report, but it's sort of part of what I need to do.
Finding a folder up near the top isn't as hard, but once I get past a certain point the list is soooo long, I can't find where sub folders are. Especially when some main folders are open & some are closed.
Thanks a ton : )
Michelle
Reproducible: Always
Sorry, need to add one more thing.
Can you please make it so when you search e-mail results in a search window, that we can see which ones have attachments instead of having to open each one one at a time to check to see if it has an attachment.
Thank you
Michelle

It's not. One issue per bug please.
Can you make two more bugs and modify that one please ?

Michelle, thanks for splitting this up into one issue per bug. For your and our ease of reference, I've added your followup bugs in the "Depends on" field at the top of this bug.

Bug 617142 is a single-issue bug that is a subset of this, that didn't seem to be listed on the duplicates.
