Weird, I've seen this too, but not from touching this setting, I once or twice ended up in this state. See also bug 574739.
And,The following code executed in error console, the button also overlapps the other toolbaritem. window.open("http://www.yahoo.com", "test", "location=yes")

I'm not seeing this today if I'm testing it right, maybe another dupe of the ordinal change bug 555987. I tried opening the code, but it opened a window without a menu bar or menu button. My main window didn't change either.
(In reply to comment #2) > And,The following code executed in error console, the button also overlapps the > other toolbaritem. > > window.open("http://www.yahoo.com", "test", "location=yes") This STR was not reproduced after landing Bug 571813. However, STR of comment #0 is still reproducable.

This happens the same in WinXP with 4.0b1 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:2.0b1) Gecko/20100630 Firefox/4.0b1) You can try a test case like this: <a href="http://mozilla.org" target="_blank" onclick="window.open(this.href,this.target,'toolbar=no'); return false;" title="Test">Test</a>

Should be fixed by landing in bug 575870 & bug 574454.
