If you go to reply to a message using ctrl+R and maybe don't hit the key for some reason and start typing, thunderbird will actually start doing stuff you didn't intent. This can be a major annoyance. It'd be nice if we had an option to require modifiers for those shortcuts or even just edit them to our own satisfaction (the way you can completely customize shortcuts in Photoshop or UltraEdit).
Reproducible: Always
