Currently the hotkey to toggle Tab Candy is Ctrl+Space in Windows, however, this is also the toggle key for Input Methods(IME).

In my test under Windows 7, it's safe that hitting Ctrl+Space won't call up Tab Candy when the text cursor is in a textfield, but it's still not instinct to associate this key to "organizing tabs."

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
In a IME-enabled computer,

1. Hit Ctrl+Space out of textfields
2. Close Tab Candy
3. Hit Ctrl+Space in a textfield
4. Close Tab Candy

Expected Results:
Use another hotkey binding for Tab Candy.

Our community memeber :bobchao also claims that sometimes Firefox will capture the event earlier than Windows system, causing IME switching defunct not working but I didn't met this kind of issue.

In fact I'm on a linux box. As Peter said, sometimes Firefox capture the event earlier when I want to switch to IME -- that's how I found the hotkey of TabCandy :P
In my test under Windows 7 32bit, Firefox only capture the the Ctrl + Space event once (the first time that Firefox 4b4 launch), and never be able to capture it again afterwards. No matter the focus is inside or outside a text field.
Forgot to mention. The shortcut can be changed to something similar (like Alt + Space, I think using Space is a good idea). But no matter what we change it to, it will always have some conflict with other applications (Alt+Space is the context menu shortcut in Windows). The best solution would be customizable shortcut.
Test Firefox 4 Beta 4 Builds on Windows 7 and Windows XP SP3, now Ctrl-Space only calls the IME but not tabcandy. which means we lost a convenient way to call it out :(

Is there anyone going to take care of this issue? It break the experience of users with IME. Personally I would like to have blocking2.0 flag on.
